This journey blends spiritual devotion with the adventure of trekking, offering breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, divine blessings, and a deep connection with nature.

Kedarnath Trek: A Path of Faith & Resilience

Your journey to Kedarnath, nestled at 3,583 meters in the Garhwal Himalayas, begins at Gaurikund. A 16-kilometer trek through rugged terrain, with the Mandakini River as your companion, will test your determination. But as you approach the awe-inspiring Kedarnath Temple, all fatigue vanishes. The ancient shrine, standing strong against time and nature, is a testament to unwavering faith.

Legends & Mysticism:

  • The Pandavas built temples to seek penance for their sins after the Mahabharata War.
  • Lord Shiva, disguised as a bull, vanished into the earth at Kedarnath, making it one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.
  • Sage Nar and Narayan's devotion compelled Shiva to reside here forever in the form of a sacred Shiv Linga.

Tungnath Trail: Where Nature & Spirituality Unite

Beyond Kedarnath, the journey continues to Tungnath, the world’s highest Shiva temple (3,680 meters). This 3.5-kilometer trek from Chopta, known as the Mini Switzerland of India, is a dream for nature lovers.

What makes Tungnath special?

  • ✔ Breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Nanda Devi and Chaukhamba.
  • ✔ Surreal alpine meadows, rhododendron blooms, and mystical forests.
  • ✔ A short trek to Chandrashila Peak (4,000 meters) offers a 360° Himalayan panorama, where Lord Rama is believed to have meditated.
